With the Finite Element Method, the distribution of temperature, stress and deformation of complex component structures are analyzed and optimized.

Constructive Ideas from the Research Lab

Any SAMSON product is developed in-house from the initial concept right through to the production stage. SAMSON's investment in R&D is considerably higher than the average for the industry. The objective behind it being to develop products which are tailored to the markets and offer extraordinary efficiency and value for money.

From the beginning of the design phase, SAMSON remains in constant contact with the customer to ensure that the products are best suited to the practical applications. Of similar importance is the cooperation with the production department and the field engineers outside the company.

SAMSON combines mechanical and electric components to ensure that the products are up to the control tasks of the future. SAMSON places prime importance on developing reliable, easily maintainable and environmentally friendly products.

CAD-systems are used to design new products. They provide three-dimensional drawing and a working simulation that allows product testing while still in the design stage.

In everyday use, many SAMSON products, e.g. valve components, are exposed to the most stressful applications and highly aggressive media. As a result, laboratory testing for corrosion resistance and tight shutoff is of utmost importance to SAMSON.

For high testing efficiency, the laboratory uses NC machines linked to the CAD system at the design office.

The fluid-mechanical properties of all SAMSON products are optimized on modern test stands with automated test routines. The resulting data are used to develop mathematical modeling methods and optimize applicable standards.

These measures allow SAMSON to meet the highest expectations and customer demands.
