Your daily work of mounting and assembling is hard enough. When the attachment of your devices is made even more difficult by restrictions, it not only wastes time, but is also a strain on your nerves. Now, you can do something against it!

When it comes to installation and start-up, the advantages of the Type 3730 Electropneumatic Positioner are unbeatable. You can attach the continuous positioner to all conventional linear and rotary actuators in any position, and the LC display never reads upside down. The reading direction of the display can be changed simply by pressing a key. So you never have difficulties in reading the current values.

Complex menu-controlled user interfaces with a multitude of controls make configuration a real puzzle and a game of skills. Not so with the Type 3730. To operate this positioner, you need but one single key. An additional asset are the four initialization modes providing automatic start-up and enabling you to make fast use of the positioner. The only thing left for you to do is to select the deviating parameters via a rotary knob and adjust as well as acknowledge them using the same knob. It's as simple as that!

The pressure in the actuator is adjusted by the proven flapper/nozzle system. The Type 3730 therefore shows better resistance against poor supply air quality than positioners using other booster systems. A thoroughly designed pneumatic system additionally ensures that the positioner consumes not more than 90 standard liters per hour even when the supply pressure varies. But don't think the air is wasted. The positioner and the attached devices are permanently flushed with it, ensuring that the atmosphere in the housing is always dry and non-corrosive.
