Type 3738

The Type 3738 Electronic Valve Position Monitor can be used on on/off valves in all fields of application. It indicates the end positions and controls the actuators. Thanks to its contactless, magnetoresistive sensor system and an integrated microprocessor, the valve monitor can be configured at the push of a button.

The first device of its kind works with a NAMUR signal in compliance with IEC 60947-5-6 and is powered by a two-wire supply. As a result, the valve monitor can replace classic solenoid valves and NAMUR contacts without having to change the wiring or signal levels. At the same time, it includes functions like self-tuning and diagnostics, which opens up a wide range of opportunities for asset management.
